Here's a little bit about the author and her blog in her own words:

"Hi there. Just to let you know who I am and why this blog setting.

I'm a retired long haul driver who is also a camera bug. I lost half my pictures in an old laptop that died but that wasn't all of them.

While searching for a particular pic, I ran across all those pictures I took along the road and realized I couldn't remember where some of them were taken. I thought, 'What's his name will remember' and then I realized it was just as easy to get all you guys involved. So here I am. Loading up pictures.

When I first retired from the road, I mostly sat and stared for 2 weeks, before I finally started getting a grip on what life used to be like. I started writing – the internet my victim."
