Electronic Equipment Delivery Driver

ARC is looking for a Full-time Equipment Delivery Driver / Mover to help us continue to provide the best employment experience for employees; and, continued excellent service for our customers.

Description:

We are seeking candidates for our vacant Equipment Delivery Driver/ Mover role. We are currently seeking candidates to provide the best service through efficient route planning, to use safe lifting techniques, and always practice defensive driving skills by performing the following duties:

Make all stops assigned and to pick up or deliver orders for customers or suppliers
Relay requests or complaints received from customers immediately upon return
Obey all traffic regulations
Immediately report any accident, injury, or traffic citation issued involving a company vehicle, and to await instructions from the Branch Manager
Learn and remember the locations of streets, buildings, and customer locations
Check the condition of the assigned vehicle, daily
Report any defects, potential problems, unusual vehicle wear to Dispatch immediately
Maintain a minimum of one-half tank of gasoline in the vehicles
Record the mileage reading on the odometer on the Daily Trip sheet as required
Be courteous and polite to customers or any other individual with whom you may come in contact while representing this company
Maintain communications with dispatch via cell phone while making pick-ups and deliveries
Attend occasional company-wide meetings and/or training.
Review deliveries for accuracy by comparing to customer invoices before delivery
Attend defensive driver classes and complete company safety training according to company policy

Experience and Qualifications:

High School Degree or equivalent education
Professional
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and align operations and sales processes to achieve business results
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, resourcefully with minimal oversight
Demonstrated experience in developing strong working relationships with internal and external customers
